  • The ISBP website has unfortunately been unavailable for many months after it was infiltrated by hackers. We regret any inconvenience this delay may have caused those of you who wanted to check in, pay your dues or join for the first time. Thank you to Debora Woolwine and Dr. Timothy Jacobs (Secretary ISBP) for their help in getting it going again.

  • The deadline to submit abstracts for the USCAP 101st annual meeting (Vancouver, Canada) is October 7th. We encourage all ISBP members to consider submitting an abstract, and to include trainees whenever possible. ISBP will be giving awards to the best papers/posters by pathology trainees. Contact Dr. Juan Palazzo (Education Coordinator of the ISBP) for more information.

  • Representatives of the ISBP presented a breakfast workshop at the American Society of Breast Surgeons meeting in Washington DC, sponsored by that organization. Thank you ASBS!

  • There will be 3 presentations from the ISBP at the upcoming American Society of Clinical Pathology meeting in Las Vegas, entitled “Timely Topics in Breast Pathology”. We encourage you to join us for the presentation on October 19th.

  • The ISBP is seeking candidates to run for the President Elect position on Council for 2013-2015. The Council hopes to identify worthy candidates from outside of the US….and we need your help identifying candidates who may be interested.
